It invariably worries me to find out that there are parents using sleep prescription drugs for getting baby to sleep. I'm not only worried about the baby but I'm also worried about the parent's welfare. We all know sleeping pills can be harmful for infants and young children and may not even be effective.

Establish a sleep routine - This approach can be as straightforward as you like. A bath followed by a cuddle and a short bedtime story will do wonders. You should not include rousing activities like games into the routine and do everything in the same order at the same time of night.
